Meklit Hadero is one of my favorite people I have crossed paths with while living in San Francisco. Her voice and warmth have amazed and enchanted me since first seeing her perform at the Red Poppy Art House in the mission. I have been fortunate to listen to her and photograph her many times over the past few years and watch her music develop and bloom. This is one image I took while she was performing at the De Young Museum awhile back.
